Accessibility

At STROOM, we believe everyone should be able to enjoy music without barriers. Our concerts, performances, and events take place at various locations throughout the Scheldt Valley. As each venue is different, we recommend checking the event page in advance. There, you’ll find practical information about the accessibility of the site. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at toegankelijkheid@festival.be or +32 9 243 94 94.
You can count on the following support:

Reduced mobility
We do our best to make as many concerts as possible wheelchair accessible, but due to the nature of the performances and the natural environment (forest, mud, etc.), some concerts are difficult to access by wheelchair. Whenever a concert is not wheelchair accessible, this will always be stated on the concert page.
Do you use a wheelchair? Please let us know in advance so our front-of-house team can prepare your visit and reserve accessible seating. toegankelijkheid@festival.be

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are, of course, welcome.

Parking spot
We provide a number of parking spaces for people with reduced mobility. Please contact toegankelijkheid@festival.be to reserve a space.

European Disability card
Upon presentation of your EDC, you may bring one companion free of charge. The EDC confirms that you are officially recognised as having a disability, including non-visible disabilities. Don’t have an EDC yet? You can request your free card online.
Purchase your own ticket via the website or Tickets Gent and contact us to request the complimentary ticket for your companion.
