The hiking route Cairn tunnels rediscovered guides you along a twenty-something historical cairn tunnels in the municipalities Niel, Boom and Rumst. Together with the high chimneys, drying warehouses and brick kilns, they are remnants of the brick industry. An industry which has determined the landscape and life in the Rupel region for four hundred years.
