Hiking
Thanks to the 1 km long Boelwerf course, you relive the 165-year-long history of the shipyard of Temse through seven points. You will discover how ships were built, how the workers were organised and how they engaged in the vibrant cultural life of Temse.
Cycling
As much as four times you will use the ferry to cross the water during the Eel cycling route. In exchange for waiting we will lead you through some of the most beautiful nature reserves alongside the banks of the Scheldt and Durme, in an area where eel has been traditionally a culinary hit.
Attractions
The Fortress of Steendorp (1883-1892) is the biggest fortress of the outer Antwerp fortress belt and the last one which was built in brick in Belgium.
