The Frans Bruynseelspath is a bicycle route which loops through Rumst and its boroughs. The path was named after Frans Bruynseels, who was the first mayor of the merged municipality Rumst from 1976 until 1986. Village centres alternate with remnants of old brickworks and industrial zones, which contrast with the elaborated green agricultural scene and the scenic beauty of the riverbanks.
Attractions
Museum 'Rupelklei', located at the dike in Terhagen, shows the rich brickwork past of the region with the help of dioramas. You will learn everything about the layers of clay and findings which were discovered in the clay.
