In the beautiful park of the Kasteel d'Ursel, you experience the shortest night of the year in a truly extraordinary way. As the magically resonant sounds of two marimbas echo around you, you can stretch out on a comfortable little bed and dream away in the twilight.
The enchanting music of, among others, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and Arvo Pärt completes the experience. And if the sky is clear, you might just catch sight of the first twinkling stars during this unique stargazing concert.
My music is about repetition and change at the same time. It creates a kind of hypnotic state that lets the listener step into another space.
Kasteel d'Ursel
Kasteel d'Ursel in Hingene is a historical and characterful place. Set between stately avenues and verdant gardens, its classical architecture is reflected in the surrounding canals. Inside, elegant salons and richly decorated rooms tell the tale of noble residents and cultural gatherings. In the summer, concerts and events are staged that revive the atmosphere of yesteryear. The combination of nature, heritage, and art renders the castle a unique destination. By day, it exudes tranquillity; by night, it takes on an almost mystical aura, especially when the first stars appear above the towers.
