Lowie Vercammen and Louis De Backere both studied accordion at the Conservatory of Ghent under Philippe Thuriot. After graduating, they joined forces to form the accordion duo Two Systems. In the 2025 edition of the Big Little Music Competition, they won both the Jury Prize and the Audience Award.
With a passion for both timeless classics and lesser-heard contemporary compositions, they guide their listeners through a thoughtfully curated and modern program. Nature takes center stage in The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, presented here in the contemporary reworking by Max Richter. This minimalist-inspired version is complemented by Encounters by Uroš Rojko, a contemporary work that showcases the accordion in a broad and versatile sonic landscape.
